Week 49 (November 30th-December 6th): A Day at the Ballet

Posted on

While I was in Maine unexpectedly, Jeff and the kids had a trip to the ballet to see Clara’s Dream, a version of the Nutcracker. It was their first real trip to a live performance (not counting the library shows they’ve seen & Disney). I heard they had a great time.

The kids all dressed up for the Nutcracker.

Caroline was given a deck of cards so I taught the kids how to play War. I remember sitting on my grandparents sunporch and playing War with my brother and sister for HOURS. The game never ended. Here’s a picture of my little munchkins having their own little marathon game.

Happy 5th Birthday to my little big guy! Liam invited a bunch of little friends to the house for a party. Everyone played well, ate cake & ice cream and watched him open many Lego gifts. What a wonderful day!

Week 46 (November 9th-15th): A visit with Granny

Granny came to visit us so she could be here for Liam’s visit. The kids skipped school one day and we went to the Cradle of Aviation and then took a few spins on Nunley’s Carousel. A fun time was had by all!
