So I got behind with summer posting and thought I would catch up once both kids were in school full time. That (rather obviously) didn’t happen. So I got further behind and here I am still trying to dig out. I would be a horrible mother and blogger if I didn’t at least post about the first day of school. Liam is now in Kindergarten and Caroline has entered first grade. So here are our first day of school pictures and a few others from our September, including some of our annual fall trip to Cape May. It sure was a busy month!
No tears here. Just two excited kids!
Seems so grown up all of a sudden! How can it be that she is already six and on her way to first grade?!?!
My little man and his “flip” hair-do. Not even five yet and off he goes.
Nothing beats a fun swim after a long, hot day at school. Hooray for Indian summers. I didn’t have the heart to tell them that it wouldn’t last.
Power Rangers in the house! Nothing beats consignment sales for cheap, fun costumes.
Granny surprised Caroline in Cape May: a belated birthday present. Welcome to the family, Isabelle!
Liam knows how to enjoy a tea party! Just put on a boa and smile!
Even Jeff got in on the fun!
Nothing says fall like a little roasting marshmallows on a Friday night.
Liam and I discovered this turtle while having some mother-son time at the Quogue Wildlife Center.
