First day done, only 2340 more days left—give or take a few!
The last few weeks of summer dragged on and we thought September 9th would never come! Caroline told us she has been waiting for the first day of kindergarten for four years. When I told her that would mean she has been waiting for it since she was one, she nodded and said “Yup, that sounds right.”
And this year we have a bonus first day of school–Caroline to kindergarten, Liam to preschool. Both were beyond excited. Both had fabulous first days. Both are continuing to have a great time at school. Fingers crossed that this excitement for school lasts the whole year through—and beyond!
